It all comes down to how you position yourself on your resume. If you can demonstrate that you are a revenue generator, that you have access to and experience in major targeted accounts, and you are willing to travel to generate those revenues, you definitely have a shot at an interview. Just don’t give up if the posted location is not exactly where you live- startup companies are looking for people who can put that company on the map.
